Maths holiday fun

Just for something different to do during the holidays.

Multiplication cloud game. Race the clock in a great times table game. Just don't get hit by lightning.

I like the cloud game because it helps me with my maths and it's fun. Everyone should try it.

Donated books

17 June 2010

As we all know our new library is nearing completion. It still has a way to go but we are busy buying new books for the library. Take a look at the photo of some of the new books being donated by children and families from school. It is a great response so thank you to everyone who has very kindly supported us in this way. You can still donate books if you want. Check out the wish list in the school office. We have titles of new books we would like and titles of some of our favourites which are very old and much-loved but need replacing. It will be very exciting to see so many new books when we open our new library.

FIFA World Cup 2010

10 June 2010

Well World Cup fever has hit. Our English principal Mr Sibson is all prepared to sit up at 4 am in the morning to watch all the games. But you won't miss out if you don't get up in the middle of the night as you can keep up to date with the games by checking out the FIFA website.
One of our caretakers, Mr Walker has made a wonderful world cup to add to our display. Pop in to the library to look at all the books on football, many of them are new books.
