Fendalton Open-Air School Library Blog

Welcome to the Fendalton Open-Air school library blog. This is the place where reading for fun is our main focus. There are heaps of reviews, author and illustrator links, and book trailer links. There are games to play on the homework page and ideas for parents as well. Feel free to leave a comment on any of the posts.

Reading Crusade

We have many children eagerly reading their six books as part of the Reading Crusade. Just because the challenge is nearly over doesn't mean you stop reading. There are some wonderful new books in the library and I have added a few more fun sites to play around with on the library blog.

Check out the author and illustrator sites for the latest additions. Four of our children were invited to visit Fendalton Public Library to meet two of the Crusaders rugby players. The children were buzzing with excitement and delighted with their goody bag and signed autographs from Jonathan Poff and Tim Batemen.

Thank you Desna for organising this. Logan from Room 7 loved the opportunity and anything that helps children, abd especially boys, to read if well worth the effort.
